Readers, Readers, Readers! Now you all know how much I LOVE GREAT singing and a GREAT voice, well one of my favorite voices is back on the scene. You all may remember her as the Songstress from the group Floetry; well "The Songstress" is out for the first time on her own and her name is MARSHA AMBROSIUS! Ms.Marsha's breakout single is titled Hope She Cheats On You.

The title alone makes you take a step back, but when you hear the song (the lyrical content)I guarantee you will say DAAAAAAAAAMN! It's a song anyone who has gone through a breakup can relate to. Take a listen; a goooooood listen and see for yourself. Marsha's debut CD is scheduled to be released on October 26th.

Ron "Mr.Biggs" Isley and the incredible Lauryn Hill come together for this classic remake of the Burt Bacjarach and Hal David penned Close To You. This song has been coverd by The Carpenters and Tamia, but after listening to this, I don't think it has been captured in it's full essence until now. I don't get it, why she isn't off somewhere barefoot, pregnant and enjoying the fruits of her labor instead of sabotaging her "sister girlfriend" Ms.Kelly Is beyond me.

MONICA: She's Back with a Vengence

Hey Readers! well, I must say slowly,but surely REAL singers are making a comeback and Monica is proving that to be a fact! Her latest CD Still Standing debuted on the Billboard charts at #1 and sold another 80,000 it's second week.
There is No stopping Ms.Thang, she announced to her hometown on Atlanta's Fox 5 News that she will accompany Trey Songz on a tour this summer slated to begin in August.
The two of them are doing spot dates together just to tease their loyal and awaiting fans.

Monica also announced via Twitter that her up coming single Here I Am will have the added vocals of her label mate Jamie Foxx. She adds" We put an interesting kind of twist on the song". Rumor has it that's the version that will be released a s the single.

Well, I wish Monica the absolute best and I for one am glad she has returned to the music scene; she is exactly what's been missing.
