President Obama & Hilary Clinton: Kudos!!!

President Yoweri Museveni or Uganda

Here are President Obama and Hilary Clinton at the 2010 National Prayer Breakfast condeming the anti gay rights act of Uganda.

"We may disagree about gay marriage, but surely we can agree that it is unconscionable to target gays and lesbians for who they are, whether it is here in the United States or... more extremely, in odious laws that are being proposed most recently in Uganda," Obama said.

Uganda has been criticized by the United States, the European Union and NGOs over the proposed legislation, which would also criminalize public discussion of homosexuality and could penalize an individual who knowingly rents property to a homosexual.

Homosexuality is already illegal in Uganda, and punishable by life imprisonment in some instances.
Now what if this was going on over here? This is a sad, sad shame. What are your thoughts on this?

CBS Rejects ads for the SUPER BOWL

CBS has said NO to several ads sent in to air during this years Super Bowl Sunday; (This Sunday to be exact)! Well here are a few of the ads you will NOT see during the annual game. CBS feels these ads are not family friendly. Ever since the Janet Jackson debacle, they have been on serious edge. Well, enjoy these and laugh (at the second and third one). The first ad Dante's Inferno video game for XBOX didn't make the cut simply because at the end, it says "GO To Hell"... CBS, Lighten the hell up! Geesh!

Anti- Homophobia Ad

Due to the outrageous hate crime statistics,These ads are ran on the public transportation systems (Bus & rail) in Long Island, NY. The ads have received a positive response; I say Kudos to the city of Long Island!

In Celebration of Black History Month, NBC is running a lunch special in thier cafeteria. Now some are all upset and saying this is racist. Well, I for one LOVE Fried Chicken, Greens cooked w/ smoked turkey and a lil Hop N John (black eyed peas and rice), but I can do without the jalapeno cornbread. I wanna know what do you all think, is this racist? or are some people just super sensitive?..C'mon and let's dish!
